Misinformation & Disinformation

Not all information you find online will be reliable, and some of it will be false. Sometimes people lie without realizing they're lying, which is misinformation. Sometimes they lie on purpose, which is disinformation. The end result is the same: bad information gets spread around while the truth is obscured.
